This site uses a slightly different warning system to what AO3 uses. The big ones are there, but there are some expanded warnings that aren’t present on AO3, or which might mean something slightly different to what you may be used to.
- Abuse: A catch-all tag, which may get expanded in the future if it needs to be. For now, any kind of abuse within a relationship is categorised within this warning
- Character Death: I’ve removed the “major” qualifier, because it’s often a bit subjective. If someone named dies and it gets page-time, it gets the warning
- Drug Abuse: Substance abuse of any kind, including those which are legal
- Drug Overdose: Fatal or otherwise. If it gets page-time, it gets the warning
- Incest: If the characters are related by blood or adoption and engaged in a sexual relationship, it gets the warning
- Major Character Death: Still subjective, but if someone I consider central to the dies and it gets page-time, it gets the warning
- Noncon: This is the kink tag, and it is short for non-consensual. Dubious consent often gets this warning out of caution, but either way there is some kinky shit going down
- Rape: I have separated these two tags, and this is the one where there is no kink present. Rape is portrayed as an act of violence, and the fic may or may not be about that trauma
- Underage: Characters under 18 are engaged in a sexual relationship
- Violence: This tag is another subjective one, but you can generally expect described assaults, gore, or battles beyond what you might see in a children’s cartoon
- None: None of the above are present in the fic. This does not guarantee it will not still find a way to be weird as hell in other ways, however.
